All-inclusive bachelorette party planning with Bach to Basic

plan the best bachelorette ever with the help of bach to basic!

Bach to Basic provides customized itineraries and all-inclusive planning for bachelorette parties all over the world! Combine their planning packages with our decor services for the ultimate bachelorette weekend.

Hello! We’re back this week with a question that I get a lot: is there a company that will help you put together an itinerary for a bachelorette weekend, and maybe assist with reservations and connections with local vendors, too?

Kay + Co actually used to do this in Charleston, and it was really fun! I loved working one-on-one with clients to plan their perfect weekend and connect them with local vendors that would elevate their experience in Charleston. However, as we expanded Kay + Co to other cities, it just got too busy to focus on itinerary planning, and we shifted to make the concierge + resources side of our business into our only focus. This ensures that our clients have the absolute best experience possible with us because we’re not spreading ourselves too thin!

However, I still get so many questions on the best way to plan a bachelorette party. It’s honestly a lot of work as a maid-of-honor or planner to coordinate accommodations, budgets, a variety of activities, meals, different personalities, decor + favors… it’s so worth it to make the weekend special for the bride but bachelorettes are definitely a lot to take on.

Enter: Bach to Basic!

Bach to Basic was founded in 2016 by Allison Odhner, so it’s one of the first bachelorette companies (along with us!) to hit the market — this may not seem like a big deal, but with how new the bachelorette industry is in general, it’s nice to have someone who’s been doing this for a few years. I’ve had coffee a few times with Allison when she visits Charleston and she’s so sweet (and has very cute babies).

Bach to Basic is focused specifically on planning bachelor + bachelorette parties all over, so no matter where you’re planning to party, they can help! They’ve got a huge list of their most popular destinations, but they’ve planned in over 80 cities + they’re always adding more. Basically, you tell them about your vision for the weekend, and they’ll create a detailed proposal with tons of ideas, a budget, and a draft itinerary, plus a mood board with decor + favor ideas. Each itinerary that they put together is customized to your group + your bride’s preferences, and they’ll take your budget per person into account, too! After you get your proposal, you can choose from their tiers of planning, which can include a custom website with your itinerary and ideas, but you do most of the booking, all the way up to them sending a team member to be the “boots on the ground” contact during your weekend (which sounds so luxurious and convenient to me)!

Per Bach to Basic’s Info Kit: “What makes Bach to Basic unique is that everything we do is completely custom. We put together events specific to the bride and/or groom so that every trip is specially crafted. No more cookie cutter weekends! Our services can be as involved as you like. We create weekends that are all inclusive whenever possible, so you can enjoy the trip in its entirety without splitting bills and worrying about finances throughout your trip. Our process makes the planning easy and the party seamless.”

sounds amazing, right?
