A Local’s Guide to a Weekend in Charleston

Hi friends, Kaitlin here — I’m Kay + Co’s client coordinator! I was born and raised in Charleston, SC, which has become a real rarity (#iykyk). I’m here to give you the inside scoop on a local’s guide to a wonderful weekend in Charleston, South Carolina — whether it’s for a bachelorette party, girls’ trip, babymoon, or just a weekend away!

Sorelle

Second Sunday on King

Prophet Coffee

My favorite places to eat + drink:

Leon’s Oyster Shop

  • Make sure you save room for soft serve + sprinkles!

Shiki

  • The BEST sushi in town!

Lewis BBQ

  • If the line is long, just wait! It’s worth it.

Sorelle

  • This is definitely a special occasion restaurant, but 100% worth. They have a mercato side of the restaurant, which serves coffee, pastries, sandwiches, etc.

Heavy’s Barburger

  • Not only do they have a yummy burger, but they have the best onion rings I’ve ever tasted.

Prophet Coffee

  • My favorite coffee shop in the Park Circle area. They make the best iced lattes.

The Harbinger

  • I go here for the vibes alone! You can’t go wrong with anything you get from here.

Sugar Bakeshop

  • This is where Kay + Co gets their cupcakes from each week!

Off Track Ice Cream

  • They make my favorite ice cream, cookie monster, which is also vegan :)
