SUAREZ BAKERY
Mouthwatering goodness. Everything Suarez makes is fantastic—doughnuts, cakes, cookies, pastries, and more! We highly recommend their seasonal specials like the August peanut butter and jelly doughnut pictured above! Located in Park Road Shopping Center, just look for the ‘stand here to activate your super powers’ print on the sidewalk and you’ve found it!

AMELIE’S FRENCH BAKERY & CAFE
Amelie’s is located in the NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte in a cute, eccentric space. Their macaroons are what they are most popular for, but they’ve got a plethora of other pastries as well as breakfast and lunch.

SUNFLOUR BAKING COMPANY
Sunflour has four locations in Charlotte two of which are super convenient to your CLT weekend itinerary—One in the Elizabeth neighborhood near Plaza Midwood and one on East Boulevard in the heart of South End. They are a bakery and cafe with coffee, tea, croissants, cakes, breads, pastries, and so much more. Their breakfast & lunch sandwiches are what we highly recommend!

THE HOBBYIST
Part coffee shop, part beer shop, the Hobbyist has it all! Their handmade drinks are all fantastic plus they partner with local vendors for scones, breads, and more! Plus you can stock up on your beer and wine needs while you’re there!

NORTH CAROLINA HAS SOME OF THE BEST BREWERIES IN THE COUNTRY, AND SOME OF THOSE SPOTS CALL THE QUEEN CITY HOME! SPEND A DAY EXPLORING AND ENJOYING SOME LOCAL BREWS!
RESIDENT CULTURE BREWING COMPANY
Arguably the best beer in Charlotte, Resident Culture is a must visit! Their Hazy IPAs are our favorites, but they also make killer Sours, refreshing Lagers, and decadent Stouts. They frequently partner with local food trucks for your food needsand have a large outdoor space to relax in.

THE SUFFOLK PUNCH
Suffolk Punch has it all: brewery, restaurant, bar, and coffee shop! No matter what you’re in the mood for Suffolk has it, plus you can enjoy it on their large patio. We love their brunch!

THE OLDE MECKLENBURG BREWERY
Charlotte’s OG brewery! Olde Meck is a German style brewery with true beer garden vibes. Grab a Hefeweizen and a pretzel and relax in the huge space! Located in Lower South End (AKA LoSo, but we’re still not sure if we’re on board with that nickname)

SALUD CERVECERIA AND BEER SHOP
Salud has two parts—the beer shop downstairs with an abundance of cans, bottles, natural wines, and taps, and then upstairs is the coffee shop and brewery with their own beer on tap. Each space has a unique and fun vibe, so be sure to check out both. We also love their pizzas!

WOODEN ROBOT BREWERY
Wooden Robot has two locations for you to enjoy their beers at—the original in South End and The Chamber in NoDa. They make a wide variety of beers and at the South End location they partner with Twisted Eats for killer bar food.

HEIST BREWERY
Heist has delicious food and delicious beers, what more could you ask for! They have two locations—the original in NoDa with a full menu and bar offerings, and the newer location, Barrel Arts, on the Northwest side of town with a new wood fired pizza option! We love their fruited sours and juicy IPAs!

OPTIMIST HALL
One of our favorite spots in town! Optimist Hall is a giant food hall with a variety of food options as well as a couple of alcohol options and coffee. Grab some goods and enjoy the large outdoor space. Our favorite tenants are Fonta Flora Brewery, The Dumpling Lady, and Papi Queso.

Not your typical bar, Pop The Top gets exclusive and delicious beers both on tap and for to-go purchases. They have a patio to enjoy your brews on as well located right in the heart of South End.

We love Dilworth Tasting Room for their outdoor wine garden. Great for a chill day, the wine garden is super peaceful and serene, & they’ll also put together some great cheese plates to accompany your vino!

This girl babe shop is super cute and full of different clothing, accessories, home goods, & more! Owned by two local girlbosses, Sarah & Carrie, the boutique believes in women supporting women & their business is aligned to do just that so you can feel good while shopping ‘till you drop.

Tacos and Tequila are in the name—need we say more? Bonus, Ruru’s has a great outdoor patio to enjoy that combo! We highly recommend the burritos and queso to accompany your margarita.

Some of the best brunch food we’ve ever eaten! Snooze has pancake flights, incredible eggs benedict options, & everything you need to start your day off right. Be prepared for a wait, but it’s worth it.
