Our Favorite Rooftops for 2022

If there’s one thing we love, it’s a rooftop in Charleston! Charleston has some of the best views in the country, so why not enjoy a cocktail (or 2) while taking in the views? There are so many rooftop bars & restaurants around town these days its hard to narrow down our faves, but we did!

Fiat Lux

Located in the Hotel Bennett off King Street. Experience a panoramic view of Charleston’s skyline paired with an expansive spirit selection and specialty seasonal cocktails. Fiat Lux is the perfect spot to get all dressed up for a night out on the town!

Eleve

Located at the Grand Bohemian Hotel, this rooftop has a unique garden setting with a fun twist on cuisine! Once the sun sets, Eleve lights up. If you’re looking for a fun, out of the box spot to try then this rooftop is the perfect place to try!

The Rooftop at Vendue

Located at the Vendue Hotel, which is Charleston’s art hotel. The Rooftop Bar in Charleston is the perfect setting for an al fresco lunch or after work meeting spot to enjoy refreshing specialty cocktails, beer and wine. We highly recommend the buffalo chicken dip!

Stars

You’ll find this rooftop bar right along King Street! On Saturday and Sunday’s they have their own take on brunch, New Orleans DJ Brunch. In the evenings, they’ve got a legit happy hour, & it gets rowdy after dark — perfect for those of you who are ready to hit it hard for your weekend of celebration.

The Watch

Located at The Restoration, The Watch Rooftop Kitchen & Spirits is a farm-to-table restaurant that celebrates local ingredients while offering some of the best views in the entire city. This spot is a great place to catch up with friends and have a few drinks in the process!

Uptown Social

Uptown Social is full of energy and the perfect place to go for day drinking or dancing under the stars to a number of amazing DJs. This is an upscale sports bar that offers delicious bar snacks and fun frozen drinks. They even offer some exercise classes so you can work off all of those pizza bites you ate the night before. Definitely worth a visit!

Charleston Harbor Fish House

Just across the bridge you’ll find Charleston Harbor Fish House. You can enjoy fresh from the dock seafood + some of the best sunset views! Not only will see the historic Charleston skyline, but also the USS Yorktown and Marina. Perfect spot for a midday drink or lunch with friends!
